Barbaro

What a magnificient creature Barbaro is.  What a sad ending to a more-than-likely record breaking career.  The more I think about it, the more I'm convinced he would have been the closest horse in 30 years to contend for the Triple Crown.  My prayer is that he'll be able to avoid complications from the surgery and live a life as a successful stallion.  I would hate to think about Thoroughbred racing without the presence of a Barbaro heir.  I can assure you that I will closely follow any foal that comes from Barbaro's loins.
