Well, we knew the game was going to be close and indeed it was. Unfortunately, the good guys just ran out of time. A&M really struggled to stop the OU running game in the first quarter, but made some outstanding defensive adjustments to slow it down in the second, third and fourth quarters. The A&M offense was able to run the ball fairly successfully in the second half, but Stephen McGee really had difficulty finding his receivers during the entire ballgame. Oh well, it was a great game to watch and this loss certainly does not dampen the spirits of the A&M faithful. We've had a super year so far and a win against Nebraska next week would only solidify our hopes for a very good bowl game - most likely the Alamo Bowl in San Antonio against a Big 10 team or the Holiday Bowl against a Pac 10 team.
